I just heard of these guys on NPR. Jose Conde y Ola Fresca, the song I heard was Oshiri Pan Pan, go to their myspace page and listen to it. It captivated me. It's like a mix between Afro Cuban All Stars and a jam band like Umphreys McGee, both of which I enjoy. Jose Conde was born in Chicago and grew up in Miami he is of Cuban descent which explains his rhythm and flava. He studied at Berklee, which explains his making good music. I'm really getting into his stuff, I will be purchasing this cd very soon, it's on point.
